Domen Valič

Domen had always known he would become an actor. He attended Kette and Murn Primary School in Ljubljana and later enrolled at Anton Aškerc Grammar School. At the age of six, he began dancing and continued until the end of high school. He first trained for six years at the Urška Dance School and then for another seven years at the Fredi Dance School. In 2001, together with his dance partner Tjaša Vulič, he achieved 2nd place in the junior category at the World Championship in Ten Dance. When he enrolled at the Academy of Theatre, Radio, Film and Television in 2004, he stopped training and fully dedicated himself to his studies. He had no prior acting experience, apart from short school sketches. He studied acting and artistic speech under Professors Mile Korun and Matjaž Zupančič. In his graduation production of Class Enemy by Nigel Williams (directed by Andrej Jus), he played the role of Hitachi.
