Alpski Kvintet is one of the best-known names in Slovenian folk music. Founded in 1966, the ensemble developed its distinctive “Alpine sound”, gaining audiences in Slovenia as well as across Europe. Their well-known songs include Čas počitnic, Dobro jutro, Janezov bariton, Kranjsko dekle and Mladi lovec. Alpski Kvintet is celebrated for its rich musical tradition, vocal harmonies and unmistakable quintet sound.
