Cankarjev dom

Cankarjev dom is Slovenia’s largest cultural and congress centre. It is located in the heart of Ljubljana, next to Republic Square. The building was constructed between 1982 and 1983 according to the designs of architect Edvard Ravnikar. It hosts concerts, theatre performances, film screenings, exhibitions, conferences and other cultural events. The building is also known for its distinctive architecture and its mostly underground halls.
